Haiku Poems

We have been making haiku poems. The haiku poem is when you have 5 syllables in the fist line and 7 syllables in the second line and 5 syllables in the last. I wrote about the sea because I love it. I need to work on my syllables . 

 

Narrative Writing - Mrs Funny

We have been learning to make our own writing and our own Animation.  

My problem was that Mrs Funny took a day off but there was no train, my solution was that she looked for the train and the train was there.

My other problem was that her brother went missing but, my solution was that she had to go and look for he at his house.  I loved making this because it was fun and I got to fix up stuff.  I like that my writing has been made into a movie.

 

My Maths Scavenger Hunt

This is what I had to find for my maths scavenger hunt.

I did't have crackers so I used cashews instead.

 

My Rocket

I have just finished my creation it is a rocket.

This  is how I made it so I got my sisters blocks and I put my stuff in I put seashells in too 

 

Two Deers

 TWO DEERS

Once there was a deer in a forest and the deer was little he was lost. Then there was another deer which was older and then they found each other they...were happy. They protected each other every day. Then they were hungry so they went to look for food and they found food. Then it was night time so they went to bed…then it was morning and the little one said “I'm hungry” “ok” said the older one. So they went to look for food again. Then they went home after they found food bugs. “I am tired” so they went to bed. “Can we go and explorer” “yes” so they went and explored and they found their parents.

Free Choice - My Holiday

We have been learning to chose our topic for writing and write a story.  I have enjoyed writing story about my holiday.  Next time I will get more sentences written to make my story bigger.

For my holiday I went to the Great Barrier and me, Mum, Kane and Winona went to my Nana and Poppas. Why we went there was because my mum went to the ball with Kane. I went and had a sleepover at my cousins and at Ila’s for one night and then for some more nights. Then we went to Auckland and we slept in a Juicy van. Me and Winona slept up top and Kane and mum slept under us and we went up to the sky tower .  Then the next day we went to the warehouse and got a onesie for me, Winona, mum and Kane. I got a Jaguar, Winona got a Unicorn, mum got a penguin and Kane got a wolf. Then we went back to Christchurch and it snowed. We were going home that day but couldn’t get home. Later that day we went back and we stopped and played with snow and then my sister needed to go to the toilet. I got out of the car and then my sister and my mum got out and I threw a snowball at my mum and then we were home.             

 

First Animation

We are learning to make an animation. I found it hard because first I did not know what to make. This is how I made it I went to the shaps and then I knew what to make. Next time I think I will do better and longer.

Fraction DLO

 

We have been leaning about fractions. We had to show our learning as a DLO (Digital Learning Object). This is my fist DLO and my buddy was Oliver. I videoed Oliver and I had the camera when we were done the teacher showed us a website that was called wevideo and then we put them in wevideo and now we are putting them on our blog.

All About Me Introduction

We have been writing about us on our blog. We have been introducing ourselves so people know who we are.

Kia ora, my name is Harmony. My friends' names are Zoe, Elizabeth, Olly, Sam, Isla, Mateus and Scarlet. I go to Kaniere School. My teacher's name is Mrs Long. I am 7 years old. I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 3 Chickens. The class I am in is Tui. I like Maths, Reading,Writing and Handwriting. I like to play with my friends. My favourite food is fish and chips, subway, treetop food and Stumpers. I like to go to the pool, playground and school. I love to go to the Barrier, Christchurch and Auckland.

Art Term 1

 This is my art.

 The colours that I used were red, yellow, orange, blue, green and purple. We wrote about us. Our teacher took a photo of us and she cut it out and we glued it on when we were finished our writing. Our teacher coloured it in. I like it because I love the colours that I used for it.
